(Corrects 2nd bullet point to most recent ARA stocks data) LONDON, March 2 (Reuters) - Northwest European diesel barge profits eased by $1 to about $29 a barrel on Thursday as supplies remained elevated.
* Russian exports of ultra low-sulphur diesel (ULSD) from the Baltic Sea port of Primorsk are set to rise by 0.4% month on month on a daily basis in March to 1.9 million tonnes, from 1.71 million tonnes scheduled for February, two traders said on Thursday.
* Gasoil stocks held in independent storage in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) refining and storage area fell slightly after 4-weeks of gains, data from Dutch consultancy Insights Global showed on Thursday.
* Gasoil stocks fell 2.3% to 2.52 million tonnes, on slowing imports and as demand up the Rhine river rose to its highest since mid-January, said Insights Global's Lars van Wageningen.
* U.S. distillate stockpiles, which include diesel and heating oil, rose by 200,000 barrels in the week to 122.1 million barrels, versus expectations for a 500,000-barrel drop, EIA data showed.
* According to Refinitiv data, Russia diverted its diesel supplies from the Baltic port of Primorsk in February to Algeria, Turkey, Tunisia, Morocco, Ghana and Brazil.
* Diesel imports into Europe from Asia, the Middle East, the United States and Russia before the EU ban on Russian imports kicked in on Feb. 5 are set to reach 6.2 million tonnes in February, based on current shipping data carried by Refinitiv. That compared with a total of 7.15 million tonnes in January.
* Imports from Asia and the Middle East in February are on course to hit a record 4.22 million tonnes, Refinitiv said. Trades Bids Offers Previous Seller Buyer Session
