India New Issue-PFC sets coupon on 15-year bonds - bankers

MUMBAI, March 2 (Reuters) - India's Power Finance Corp (PFC) has set 7.82% coupon on its bonds maturing in 15 years, three merchant bankers said on Thursday. The state-run company has accepted bids worth 34.69 billion rupees ($444.36 million) on this issue, for which it had invited coupon and commitment bids earlier in the day.


The bonds are rated AAA by CRISIL, CARE and ICRA and the issue will be settled on Monday. Earlier this month, PFC raised 35 billion rupees selling bonds maturing in 10 years at an annual coupon of 7.64%. ($1 = 82.5680 Indian rupees) (Reporting by Bhakti Tambe and Dharamraj Dhutia)
