Romania sells 665.0 mln lei of April 2036 bonds and 317.0 mln lei of July 2025 bonds

March 2 (Reuters) - Romania sold a more than planned 665.0 million lei ($143.25 million) worth of April 2036 bonds and a less than planned 317.0 million lei ($68.29 million) of 2025 July bonds on Thursday at an average accepted yield of 7.99% and 7.27% respectively, central bank data showed. Debt managers, who had planned to sell 400 million lei of the April 2036 paper last tendered them in February at an average yield of 7.43%.


They had also planned to sell 400 million lei of July 2025 bonds. Romania last sold similar paper in November at an average yield of 7.21%.
