MONTEVIDEO, March 3 (Reuters) - Uruguay's consumer
prices rose 1% in February versus the previous month, the South
American nation's statistics agency said on Friday, slowing from
the 1.56% rise seen in January.
Even so, monthly inflation came in above market
expectations, as analysts polled by the central bank had
forecast a 0.88% increase in the second month of the year.
