BERLIN, March 6 (Reuters) - European Central Bank
policymaker Robert Holzmann hopes that peak interest rates will
have been reached within the next 12 months, according to an
interview with German business daily Handelsblatt.
"My hope is that within the next 12 months we will have
reached the peak of interest rates," Holzmann said in the
interview published on Monday.
He added that he expected it to take "a very long time" for
inflation to come down.
