TOKYO, March 7 (Reuters) - Japan and South Korea have
not decided whether to resume a bilateral currency swap
arragement as their relations improve, Japanese Finance Minister
Sunichi Suzuki said.
The currency swap had expired years ago when ties between
the countries soured.
Seoul said on Monday its companies would compensate people
forced to work under Japan's 1910-1945 occupation, seeking to
end a dispute that has undercut U.S.-led efforts to present a
unified front against China and North Korea.
