BANGKOK, March 7 (Reuters) - Thailand's exports are
likely to contract 8% in the first quarter of this year from a
year earlier as global demand slows, the country's shippers'
council said on Tuesday.
That compared with a previous forecast of a fall of 3.7% in
exports in January-March from a year earlier.
