AMSTERDAM, March 7 (Reuters) - The European Central Bank
(ECB) should be expected to continue raising rates for some time
to come following a new hike at its policy meeting this month,
ECB governing council member Klaas Knot said on Tuesday.
"Considering the persistent inflationary pressure the ECB
has expressed the intention to raise rates next week, and I
expect that will continue for some time to come," Knot said in a
speech in Amsterdam.
