Last month, Gasunie said it was exploring the possibility of
Gasunie of a 4 billion cubic metre (bcm) capacity expansion at
the Gate LNG terminal in the Netherlands.
"Gate will continue to work on a good business case and
financing as to reach FID (final investment decision) in the
coming months," the terminal operator said in a statement.
Several European countries are trying to expand LNG import
capacity and build more terminals following Russia's invasion of
Ukraine and reduced Russian gas pipeline flows.

LONDON, March 7 (Reuters) - Gate terminal B.V., a joint
venture between Dutch gas grid operator Gasunie and tank storage
company Vopak, said on Tuesday it is working on moving towards
an investment decision on whether to expand its liquefied
natural gas terminal capacity.
