"The SPR was released, the 180 million barrels, was because
of the war," Granholm said on the sidelines of the CERAWeek
energy conference in Houston. "There has to be a situation like
that that would generate interest in doing it. It's not just
about increases in prices, it really is about an emergency
disruption."

HOUSTON, March 8 (Reuters) - U.S. Energy Secretary
Jennifer Granholm said on Wednesday any further releases from
the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve would be due to disruptions
like the the war in Ukraine, which led the Biden Adminstration
to open the nation's emergency crude supplies.
