Turkish cenbank introduces defacto upper limit on consumer loan rates -bankers

ANKARA, March 10 (Reuters) - Turkish central bank told banks on Friday that consumer loans were included in the scope of security facility, in line with the interest rate, which bankers called a defacto upper limit on interest rates of consumer loans. In a document seen by Reuters, the central bank said the measure was taken to support its liraisation strategy.
