Jeremy Hunt said on Sunday the government was working urgently
to come forward with short and longer-term solutions to address
problems in Britain caused by the collapse of U.S. bank Silicon
Valley Bank.
"We've been working in pace over the weekend, through the
night," Hunt told Sky News.
"We will bring forward very soon plans to make sure people
are able to meet their cashflow requirements to pay their staff,
but obviously what we want to do is to find a longer-term
solution that minimises, or even avoids completely, losses to
some of our most promising companies."
