BUDAPEST, March 14 (Reuters) - Hungary's construction sector
output declined by an annual 3.6% in January based on unadjusted
data, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) said on Tuesday.
On a monthly seasonally and working-day adjusted basis,
output was down by 5.0% from December, the KSH said. The
construction of buildings declined by 4% year-on-year, while
other types of construction declined by 2.1%, it said.
The volume of new orders dropped by 28% year-on-year in
January, while the stock of orders at the end of the month was
18.2% lower than in the same period a year ago.
