ALMATY, March 14 (Reuters) - Persistent risks require
Kazakhstan's central bank to keep its policy rate unchanged,
bank governor Galymzhan Pirmatov said on Tuesday.
The bank had earlier said it planned to keep the rate at
16.75% through the first half of this year to bring down
inflation that has surged to its highest in more than 20 years.
