ABIDJAN, March 15 (Reuters) - Ivory Coast collected
around 3.2 trillion CFA francs ($5.27 billion) in taxes in 2022,
up 12.5% from around 2.8 trillion CFA francs ($4.61 billion) in
2021, said a statement by the tax authority sent to Reuters on
Wednesday.
It added that the forecast of tax collection for 2023 was
around 3.7 trillion CFA francs ($6.09 billion).
Ivory Coast, the world's top cocoa producer, accounts for
around 40% of the combined GDP of the eight-nation West African
CFA franc currency zone.
