March 16 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index fell at
the open on Thursday, dragged down by losses in energy and
financial stocks, as fears of a global banking meltdown
continued to worry investors.
At 9:30 a.m. ET (1330 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's
S&P/TSX composite index was down 166.48 points, or
0.86%, at 19,212.36.
