March 16 (Reuters) - Specialty chemicals company Chemours Co said on Thursday that Edwin Sparks, the president of its largest segment Titanium Technologies (TT), would be leaving the company, effective March 31. TT, which produces the titanium dioxide pigment used in coatings, plastics and laminates, had seen a decline in revenue last year as demand slowed in Europe and Asia Pacific in the second half.

Aditya Beri, vice president of supply chain and minerals for TT, would helm the division in the interim, Chemours said.

The search for a permanent replacement for Sparks, who was with DuPont De Nemours Inc for 21 years, is underway, it added. (Reporting by Sourasis Bose in Bengaluru; Editing by Shailesh Kuber)
