BERLIN, March 16 (Reuters) - Europe is aware of the
risks facing its banking sector but is in a position to manage
them, the chairman of euro zone finance ministers, Paschal
Donohoe, told Germany's Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung daily on
Thursday.
"We have proven in recent years that we are in a position to
manage risks for both the state and our banking system,"
Donohoe told the paper, adding banks were prepared for further
interest rate rises and noone was complacent about the economic
climate.
