FRANKFURT, March 16 (Reuters) - Germany's Allianz said that authorities were "well equipped" to deal
with any liquidity crisis, a spokesperson for Germany's biggest
financial firm said.
The spokesperson, in response to emailed questions, said the
company wouldn't comment on the banking sector "but note that
regulators, central banks and governments are well equipped to
deal with any liquidity crisis – unlike what happened during"
the global financial crisis of 2007 and 2008.
