Turkey - Factors to Watch on March 20

ISTANBUL, March 20 (Reuters) - Here are news, reports and events that may affect Turkish financial markets on Monday. The lira traded at 19.0120 against the dollar early on Monday, little changed from its close of 19.0080 on Friday. The main BIST 100 share index closed 1.78% lower at 5,136.44 points on Friday.


GLOBAL MARKETS Futures and Asian stocks fought to stabilise though banks remained under pressure on Monday as a rescue deal for Credit Suisse and a concerted effort by central banks to restore confidence eased immediate fears of contagion.


ERDOGAN PROGRAMME President Tayyip Erdogan will attend EU Donors' Conference for the February earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria via videolink (1130 GMT). Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu will attend the conference in Brussels.


GRAIN DEAL A deal allowing the safe Black Sea export of Ukrainian grain was renewed on Saturday for at least 60 days - half the intended period - after Russia warned any further extension beyond mid-May would depend on the removal of some Western sanctions.


TURKEY-EGYPT Egypt and Turkey took another step towards mending relations on Saturday when Ankara's top diplomat visited Cairo for the first time since ties were ruptured a decade ago and held talks with his Egyptian counterpart.


DEBT STOCK The Treasury will announce debt stock data for February (1430 GMT).
