ESSEN, Germany, March 21 (Reuters) - RWE is
currently buying smaller amounts of liquefied natural gas (LNG)
from the world's top producer Qatar and it remains to be seen
whether large long-term contracts will also be signed, Chief
Executive Markus Krebber said on Tuesday.
The company remains in talks with global LNG suppliers but
ruled out taking stakes in exploration projects, Krebber said,
adding RWE's core business remained power and hydrogen.
