FRANKFURT, March 22 (Reuters) - The European Central Bank has looked deep into the stability of the euro zone bank sector and found no issues to warrant concerns about a spread of banking turmoil, Belgian central bank chief Pierre Wunsch said on Wednesday. "We've been torturing the data in all directions and honestly, what we see is no problem," Wunsch, who sits on the ECB's 26-member Governing Council, told a conference.

"Even if banks would have to sell all of their obligations and take the losses, they would still have enough capital," Wunsch added. "So we are in a very different situation." (Reporting by Balazs Koranyi; editing by Philippa Fletcher)
