The company will pay a coupon of 8.80% for this issue, and
has invited bids later in the day.
The issue is rated AAA by CRISIL and will be settled on
Friday.

MUMBAI, March 23 (Reuters) - Standard Chartered Capital
plans to raise 500 million rupees ($6.1 million) through the
sale of bonds maturing in 13 months, two merchant bankers said
on Thursday.
