JERUSALEM, March 22 (Reuters) - Israel's exports rose more than 15% to a record level of around $166 billion in 2022, led by exports of services, the Economy Ministry said on Wednesday. Exports, about one-third of Israel's economic activity, were $144 billion in 2021, when services overtook goods as the country's main export for the first time.

Services, which accounted for 52% of total exports, were led by high-tech exports like programming and research and development, the ministry said. Leading customers, it said, were the United States, Great Britain, China, India and Ireland. In total, 37.4% were exported to the Americas, 36.8% to Europe and 23.6% to Asia.
