DUBAI, March 23 (Reuters) - The International Monetary
Fund (IMF) on Thursday warned that Lebanon was in a very
dangerous situation one year after it committed to reforms that
it has failed to implement and urged the Lebanese government to
halt borrowing from the central bank.
"Lebanon is in a very dangerous situation," IMF mission
chief Ernesto Rigo said at a news conference in Beirut, adding
that authorities should accelerate the implementation of
pre-conditions for a $3 billion bailout.
