OSLO, March 23 (Reuters) - Norway's central bank must
raise interest rates in order to bring down inflation, Governor
Ida Wolden Bache told a news conference on Thursday.
"Our job is to get inflation down to the goal of 2%," she
said.
Norges Bank on Thursday raised its benchmark interest rate
by 25 basis points (bps) to 3.0% and said it would likely hike
again in May and also after that to hit 3.5% during the coming
summer.
