KAMPALA, March 23 (Reuters) - The Ugandan shilling was stable on Thursday but strong appetite for foreign exchange by both commercial banks and importers meant the local unit remained vulnerable, traders said.

At 0815 GMT commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,765/3,775, same level as Wednesday's close.
