March 23 (Reuters) - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on
Thursday extended the federal permitting process for Enbridge
Inc's proposed Great Lakes Tunnel that would house the
Line 5 oil pipeline underneath the Straits of Mackinac in the
Great Lakes.
Canadian pipeline company Enbridge said it was
"disappointed" with the decision, which will delay the start of
construction until 2026.
