PARIS, March 27 (Reuters) - France's public sector budget deficit fell more than the government expected last year as tax income came in strong, business newspaper Les Echos reported on Monday. Les Echos said that the INSEE official statistics agency would report on Tuesday a 2022 public deficit of 4.8% of economic output or less, below the 5% the government had anticipated in its budget planning. The newspaper said INSEE would also report that the national debt had not topped 3 trillion euros ($1.08 trillion) as had been widely expected by economists.
