MUMBAI, March 27 (Reuters) - India's Tata Cleantech
Capital said on Monday it had issued sustainability-linked bonds
worth 3.75 billion rupees ($45.58 million) to International
Finance Corp (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group.
This is the first such capital market instrument issued by a
private financial institution in India, Tata Cleantech said.
The company, however, did not mention any details of the
bond issue such as maturity, tenor or coupon.
The bond proceeds will help Tata Cleantech scale up
on-lending towards renewable energy projects and diversify into
energy-efficiency sectors over the next three years, the company
said.
