March 28 (Reuters) - The U.S. Federal Reserve's internal
watchdog has launched a probe into the failure of Silicon Valley
Bank, Bloomberg News reported on Tuesday, citing a spokesman.
The review by the Fed's inspector general began on March 14
and is expected to span over six months to investigate the
supervision of SVB by the Fed Board of Governors in Washington
and examiners at the San Francisco Fed, Bloomberg said, citing
the spokesman.
