PRAGUE, March 29 (Reuters) - The Czech National Bank
kept its key policy interest rate unchanged at a
more-than-two-decade high of 7.00% on Wednesday, as double-digit
inflation edged past a peak and markets speculated on how soon
rate cuts may come.
The decision was in line with a Reuters poll ,
which sees rate cuts most likely starting in the second half of
the year, although analysts predicted a slowing pace of easing
this year following recent turmoil in global banking.
