BERLIN, March 30 (Reuters) - German Economy Minister
Robert Habeck on Thursday said it is too early to speak of a
trend reversal in inflation just yet despite a big drop in the
most recent data.
"I won't speak of a reversed trend from February to March
... but the decline is strong. We can continue this," Habeck
said at a Canadian-German energy conference in Berlin.
German inflation eased significantly in March on the back of
lower energy prices, according to the German statistics office,
but still came in above a forecast.
