Debt managers sold more debt than planned at domestic tenders in the first quarter, particularly in January. In March, the sold a more than planned 7.1 billion lei so far, with one more tender scheduled on Thursday. In April, the ministry has scheduled ten bond tenders with residual maturities ranging from 3.6 to 14.9 years and one auction for one-year treasury bills. So far this year, Romania has sold just under 40 billion lei and tapped $4 billion of 5-, 10- and 30-year bonds and 2 billion euros of 2026 and 2029 eurobonds. BUCHAREST, March 30 (Reuters) - Romania's finance
ministry aims to sell domestic treasury bonds and bills worth
roughly 7.63 billion lei ($1.68 billion) in April, including 930
million lei at non-competitive tenders, it said on Thursday.
