LONDON, March 30 (Reuters) - Sri Lanka is looking closely at ways to improve the quality of its expenditure and will continue with checks going forward, Treasury Secretary Mahinda Siriwardena told creditors during a virtual presentation on Thursday.

"Fiscal efforts are directed at achieving primary balance target," he said, adding the country's tax policy reforms were the most important. "We see a huge potential to increase tax base and revenue," he said.
