BERLIN, March 31 (Reuters) - German import prices fell
more than expected in February, the statistics office said on
Friday.
Compared to the previous month, import prices fell in
February by 2.4%. Analysts polled by Reuters had expected a
monthly decline of 1.0%.
On the year, import prices were up 2.8% versus expectations
of a 4.2% increase, according to a Reuters poll of analysts.
