MUMBAI, March 31 (Reuters) - India's Meghalaya Energy
Corporation Ltd has accepted bids worth 2.41 billion rupees
($29.3 million) for bonds maturing in 10 years, three merchant
bankers said on Friday.
The state-government run company will pay a coupon of 10.55%
on this bond issue, for which it had invited bids from bankers
and investors earlier in the day.
The bonds are rated A-(CE) by Brickwork Ratings and the
issue will be settled on Monday.
