Japan's Nittetsu plans 5.5% increase in H1 copper output y/y

TOKYO, April 3 (Reuters) - Japan's Nittetsu Mining Co Ltd plans to produce 24,907 tonnes of refined copper in the first half of the 2023/24 financial year, up 5.5% from a year earlier, it said on Monday. The country's first half runs between April and September. Following are details of the company's output plan, with comparisons against estimate production in the second half and actual production in the first half of the 2022/23 financial year, which ended on March 31.
