WARSAW, April 5 - The following are news stories, press reports and events that may affect Poland's financial markets on Wednesday. ALL TIMES GMT (Poland: GMT + 2 hours):


INTEREST RATES The National Bank of Poland (NBP) will announce its interest rate decision. Analysts polled by Reuters expect the main rate to stay on hold at 6.75%.


ZELENSKIY VISIT Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy arrived in neighbouring Poland on Wednesday, a Polish presidential aide said, as he begins an official visit to a close ally that has galvanised Western military and political support for Kyiv.


REBUILDING UKRAINE Two thousand companies in Poland have reported to the Polish Investment and Trade Agency their interest in participating in the reconstruction of Ukraine, Puls Biznesu daily reported.


ENERGY Climate Minister Anna Moskwa told Rzeczpospolita daily that the update of Poland's energy strategy assumes spending on generation capacity of over 726 billion zlotys ($170 billion).
