UPDATE 1-UK Stocks-Factors to watch on April 5

(Adds news items, updates futures) April 5 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 index is seen opening flat on Wednesday with futures unchanged.
* ASTRAZENECA: AstraZeneca said a combination of cancer drugs Imfinzi and Lynparza improved progression-free survival in patients with advanced ovarian cancer, as per the results of a late-stage trial.
* ENQUEST: British North Sea-focused oil producer EnQuest reported a 30.8% rise in full-year free cash flow, helped by strong production, higher oil prices and cost cuts.
* ENTAIN: British gambling group Entain Plc said it has


acquired sports media business 365scores for $150 million.



* CO-OPERATIVE GROUP: Britain's Co-Operative Group , the mutual owner of supermarkets and funeral homes,


maintained operating profit at 100 million pounds in 2022 despite inflationary pressure.



* LOOKERS: Auto retailer Lookers Plc forecast its full-year pretax profit


ahead of prior expectations.



* SMMT: New car registrations in the United Kingdom


rose for the eighth consecutive month in March, recording a more than 17% rise from a year earlier, according to preliminary industry data.



* OFCOM: British communications regulator Ofcom said it planned to ask the competition regulator to


investigate cloud services, a market dominated by Amazon and Microsoft .


* BUSINESS CONFIDENCE: Most British businesses expect their sales to rise over the coming year despite seeing no sales growth over the past three months, the British Chambers of Commerce said.
* DIGITAL TAX: A levy imposed by Britain on the revenues of big tech companies such as Google, Facebook and Amazon in 2020 as a stopgap measure pending an international tax agreement risks becoming permanent, a group of tax experts said.
* OIL: Oil prices edge up as OPEC+ output cuts, U.S. inventories brighten outlook.
* GOLD: Gold at over one-year peak as weak US data buoys demand.
