MUMBAI, April 6 (Reuters) -
STOCKS:
The benchmark BSE Sensex fell 152.53 points, or 0.26%,
to 59,536.78, tracking decline in Asian equities and U.S.
futures on worries over the U.S. growth outlook. The NSE index lost 35.65 points, or 0.20%, to 17,521.4. RUPEE:
The Indian rupee rose 0.11% to 81.91 to U.S. dollar,
helped by foreign equity inflows. GOVERNMENT BONDS:
Benchmark 10-year bond was quoted at 99.82
rupees, with yield up 1 bps at 7.2850% ahead of the Reserve Bank
of India's policy decision. OVERNIGHT INDEXED SWAPS:
The one-year overnight indexed swap rate was down
2 bps at 6.78%, while the benchmark five-year swap rate fell 2 bps to 6.24%.
CALL MONEY/REPOS:
India's overnight call money rate was up 40 bps at
6.65% against 6.25% in the previous session. The overnight TREPS
rate was at 6.55%, compared with the previous
day's weighted average of 6.2320%.
