GLOBAL MARKETS U.S. stocks reversed an earlier sell-off to close higher on Thursday ahead of the Easter holiday, and Treasury yields steadied, as investors digested weak labor market data ahead of a U.S. jobs report, seeking signs the Federal Reserve could pause on rate hikes. LAVROV VISIT Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu hold a news conference (0815 GMT). The diplomats were to discuss the Ukraine war, energy cooperation and the Black Sea grain deal during Lavrov's two-day visit.
TURKISH, U.S. DEFENCE CHIEFS Turkey's defence minister told his U.S. counterpart that Finland's new NATO membership showed its support for enlargement and that it hoped Sweden would fulfill commitments under its own bid as soon as possible, Ankara said on Thursday.
TURKISH AIRLINES The airline said its March passenger numbers rose 27.5% to 6.11 million, with the load factor up 6.1% to 81.9%.
TRANSPORT MINISTER Transport Minister Adil Karaismailoglu will make a press statement at a metro station which is opening in Istanbul (1200 GMT).
TREASURY CASH BALANCE The Treasury will release its cash balance data for March (1430 GMT).
