April 11 (Reuters) - Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank President Patrick Harker on Tuesday said he still believes the U.S. central bank needs to get interest rates above 5% and then keep them there to squeeze high inflation out of the economy.

"I'm in the camp of getting up above 5 and then sitting there for a while," Harker said. The Fed's target range for its benchmark rate is currently 4.75%-5.00%.
