ISTANBUL, April 11 (Reuters) - Turkey's industrial production tumbled 6.0% month-on-month on a seasonal and calendar-adjusted basis in February, when a devastating earthquake hit the country's south, official data showed on Tuesday.

Output dropped 8.2% year-on-year, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute. It said the survey response rate was 67% in the quake-hit regions, where VAT declarations were postponed, meaning alternative data sources were used.
