UPDATE 1-UK Stocks-Factors to watch on April 12

(Adds news items, updates futures) April 12 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 index is seen opening flat on Wednesday, with futures unchanged.


* HIKMA: Hikma Pharmaceuticals Plc said Riad Mishlawi, president of the group's injectables business, will become its chief executive officer, effective Sept. 1.
* DE LA RUE: British banknote printer De La Rue Plc said it expects full-year profit to be


below market expectations as demand for banknotes were at it lowest levels in over 20 years.



* PETROFAC: Petrofac Ltd said it expects to report a wider


operating loss of about $150 million to $170 million for 2022 after a review of its portfolio of contracts and contractual and commercial issues revealed increased costs.


* HOUSE SALES: British homes sales recovered to within a whisker of pre-pandemic levels in March, representing a recovery from September when the failed economic plan of former prime minister Liz Truss sparked turmoil across markets, a survey showed on Wednesday.
* OIL: Oil prices edged up as the market waited for U.S. inflation data later in the day that will likely influence the Federal Reserve's policy on future interest rate hikes.
* GOLD: Gold prices gained as investors keenly await key U.S. inflation data for signs of how close interest rates are to peaking.
* METALS: Copper prices climbed with support from a weaker U.S. dollar ahead of key inflation data, while further gains were capped by a rising supply.
