April 18 (Reuters) - The Kenyan shilling was little changed on Tuesday, though traders said foreign-currency demand from manufacturers and other importers meant the bias was towards the weaker side.

At 0717 GMT commercial banks quoted the shilling at 134.70/90 to the U.S. dollar versus Monday's close of 134.65/85. The shilling is down 8.5% against the dollar so far this year, according to Refinitiv data. (Reporting by Elias Biryabarema Editing by Alexander Winning)
