Ministry showed. Analysts were expecting an increase of 1.9%.
Malaysia recorded a trade surplus of 26.69 billion ringgit
($6.02 billion) in March.

KUALA LUMPUR, April 19 (Reuters) - Malaysia's exports in
March fell 1.4% on the year, a smaller decline than analysts
expected, government data showed on Wednesday.
Exports in March had been expected to decline 3.5%,
according to 15 economists surveyed by Reuters.
