April 20 (Reuters) - Dallas Federal Reserve Bank President Lorie Logan said Thursday she is assessing whether the Fed has made enough progress on fighting inflation based on three markers, including "further and sustained" improvement in measures of inflation. Also in her sights are whether the economy is evolving as forecast, and whether there are clear changes in the imbalance between supply and demand and the very tight labor market that have produced high inflation, she said in remarks prepared for delivery in Odessa, Texas.

Logan added she is also "closely watching the effects of stresses in the banking system" on the macroeconomy and on the many communities in Texas served by small and midsize banks.
