President Lorie Logan said Thursday she is assessing whether the
Fed has made enough progress on fighting inflation based on
three markers, including "further and sustained" improvement in
measures of inflation.
Also in her sights are whether the economy is evolving as
forecast, and whether there are clear changes in the imbalance
between supply and demand and the very tight labor market that
have produced high inflation, she said in remarks prepared for
delivery in Odessa, Texas.
