Romania sells 601.1 mln lei of Jan 2028 bonds, 733.4 mln lei of April 2031 bonds

April 20 (Reuters) - Romania's finance ministry sold a more than planned 601.1 million lei ($133.45 million) worth of January 2028 bonds and a more than planned 733.4 million lei ($162.82 million) worth of April 2031 bonds on Thursday, at an average accepted yield of 7.31% and 7.40% respectively central bank data showed.


Debt managers, who had planned to sell 500.0 million lei of the January 2028 paper, last tendered them in March at an average yield of 7.29%. They also planned to sell 700.0 million lei of the April 2031 paper. Romania last tendered similar bonds in March at an average yield of 7.59%.
