UPDATE 1-UK Stocks-Factors to watch on April 20

(Adds news stories, updates futures move) April 20 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 index is seen opening flat on Thursday with futures up 0.04%.



* BABCOCK: Babcock warned it may need to take a hit of up to 100 million pounds ($124.46 million) from a contract to build frigates for the Royal Navy after inflation sent costs soaring since the project started in 2019.
* WH SMITH: Retailer WH Smith posted a better-than-expected half-year


profit on Thursday, helped by improved passenger numbers at airports and train stations.



* DELIVEROO: Meal delivery company Deliveroo reported a 4% rise in revenue in its first quarter


on Thursday , although a 9% drop in the number of orders on its platform resulted in 1% lower gross transaction value (GTV).



* SEGRO: Warehousing specialist


Segro Plc , said on Thursday that occupier demand was persistently high and was coming from a diverse range of customers amid limited supply in the market.



* JET2: Jet2 plc ,


Britain's biggest tour operator, upgraded its annual forecast on Thursday, saying it now expected profit to come in between 387 million pounds ($482 million) and 392 million pounds ($488 million).



* DUNELM: Homeware retailer Dunelm Group Plc reported a 6% rise in quarterly sales on Thursday as higher gas bills forced shoppers to stock up on energy-efficient products during the winter months.



* RELX: Information company Relx said on Thursday it had made a good start to the year and it expected underlying growth rates in revenue and adjusted operating profit to remain above historical trends.



* HOCHSCHILD MINING: Hochschild Mining reported a nearly


35% fall in annual adjusted core profit on Thursday as the precious metals miner recorded lower production at its Peruvian mines amidst social upheaval in the country.
